Gotcha.

After a 9 1/2 hour paper chase, a little birthday girl got to go to the apartment with her mama.  It was a LONG day, but a pretty good reward at the end.

We still had about 3 1/2 hours of errands to run, and a certain little girl had not gotten a nap.  It was so hot, so I laid her down in my arms, but as far away from me as possible while still being relatively comfortable for us both.  SO HOT.  She isn't used to sleeping in arms anyway, and the unbearable heat made it hard!  So, she slept a few times for short periods.  The very fast, jerky car rides did not help either.  ;)

 Finally in the apartment and still asleep.  She LOVED the sling.

 And the Jenny jump up!  It took her about two minutes to figure out that she could move herself around to see me or swing back and forth.  Smart girl!  Right after this, she had her first bath.  She loved it until she started being washed, then she was done.  Still no tears, but some complaining.

 We sang happy birthday and let her try her cake with C, M, E, and Nana on skype.  She had wanted that cake before, and gotten it (see the side?) and when it was time to smash it...no dice. 

 This is as messy as she got!  (And the pics are out of order...she got a bath after this!)

Happy Birthday, baby girl.  I'm so glad we are getting to spend ALL your birthdays with you!
